Hi, my name is Lucy and I’m from Staffordshire in the centre of England. I grew up on a farm in the beautiful English countryside, but wanting a change of pace, I moved to London when I was 18 to go to university.
I studied French and Italian at University College London, where I had a fantastic time. During my time at university I lived in Marseille for a while, teaching English in a high school. Then I moved to Rome where I was an Erasmus student. These two cities really made me appreciate the Mediterranean way of life, not to mention the weather. After university I travelled around Chile for 3 weeks and found it absolutely incredible. Although I was only there for a short time, I picked up a little Spanish, and decided Spain would be the ideal destination to start my English teaching career. When I got back to England, I did a teacher training course and arrived in Zaragoza a couple of months later. I’ve been here for five months now, and I’m loving every minute. The food, weather and nights out are all fantastic! I hope to improve my Spanish and discover lots more about the culture and way of life here in Zaragoza.
