Number 16 is the best English School in Spain! We offer you the opportunity to join a unique and diverse team,  teaching English in the Spanish major cities! You can choose between Zaragoza (where our HeadQuarters is), Madrid, Bilbao, Valencia or Barcelona.

You will receive an email indicating next steps! Successful applicants are required to go through at least one interview with a member of our Academic Talent Acquisition team (in one of our Schools or online, depending on where you are!) In our interview, some of the questions you can expect are: why do you want to become an English teacher? Why Number 16? How do you feel about using a Direct Method in class? Why do you want to live and work abroad in Spain? 

We also let you ask as many questions as you want, as most of our Talent Acquisition Team Members started in the teacher role at Number 16 and can relate very well to how you are feeling/your initial questions. 

Please note that at peak teams the volume of applications is quite high and we might take a bit longer to get in touch with you! 

We conduct an initial training week (Online or onsite in one of our centers here in Spain) 

The training week is the perfect opportunity to learn all about our unique teaching method and with the support of our training team members, you have the chance to practice different aspects of the method in a classroom setting before commencing the role the following week. It also brings you the opportunity to get to know more about Number 16, our company culture and our staff. Our training week is a fantastic blend of theory and practice sessions, ensuring that each individual is confident and ready to shine in the classroom! You can see our more experienced teachers in action and gain some really insightful feedback from our academic team and you embark on a new chapter in your professional journey. 

It is not necessary to have any knowledge of Spanish! We teach our classes 100% in English, as we believe that an English immersion experience for the student is the key to success. Whatever your Spanish Level is - from zero to proficient- you can be an amazing English teacher at Number 16! 

Number 16 offers a wide range of services to its students. From General English, to Exams and Kids classes that are taught face to face or Online, to Business English classes taught in company, we are proud to have a very wide range of students and options. We also offer Immersion Camps for school-age children (7-18 years old) as well as Ski Camps. Whatever the objective of the student is, we are here to help achieve it!

We are happy to help you broaden your horizons by introducing you to our exclusive General English method, as well as helping you develop professionally in all of the ELT areas. 

At Number 16 we offer a range of different classes which keeps each working day fresh and exciting as you meet students from various walks of life.

We are renowned for our General English Method which is unique to us and the classes aim to target students' communication through dynamic and engaging conversation classes. The teachers use various correction techniques for pronunciation and grammar to get our students speaking to the best of their abilities. As well as these conversational classes, we also offer 121 classes which can be using our method or also tailored to our students needs, toddlers, Kids and Teen classes, Official Exam Preparation classes (such as Cambridge levels A1-C2, IELTS,Linguaskill etc) and Business English Classes. 

Number 16 offers the option for both full time and part time hours. Our contracts are permanent with a fixed monthly salary which is great in terms of job security and financial stability for a new life in Spain.
